Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC. Zeta Phi Beta began as an idea conceived by our Five Pearls: Arizona Cleaver, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler, Fannie Pettie and Pearl Neal. These five phenomenal women dared to depart from the traditional coalitions for black women seeking to establish an organization predicated on the precepts of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love & Finer Womanhood.Originally chartered in September of 1953, the Epsilon Beta Zeta chapter was revitalized April 1, 2010 to continue serving the Plant City, Florida community. For more information, email the chapter at epsilonbetazeta@yahoo.com.
