As a friend of mine and I sat down a couple years ago to write some information about their farm, I realized what we said made sense for what I'm doing, too. "Framing the Future through the Past" or rather Cultivating a Future. One that is in a very different world than we are living in today. I had no idea when we wrote this the world would be so different that we'd be home, staying apart so we can all get back together. I think the world we return to will have fewer "things"  but hopefully, more humanity. To that end I offer Herbal Basics class so that you can learn how to care for yourself and your family with the plants that are so easily available to us and several gatherings a year so we can learn and grow in confidence in one another. We also offer a chance to connect with nature on our beautiful farm.I've been a practicing herbalist since 1995 and an enthusiast for better than 50 years. (Ask me about the love potions in the herbal shops in New Orleans!) I know first hand how the herbs have worked for me over the decades and have been grateful for their presence in my life through all of the stages for myself and my family and community. My project the last 15 years has been "Elder Spirit Herbals" a nod to my own aging process and I'm happy to report I'm still motivated to keep learning. Learn with me!
