Ammar Daba is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, writer, and actor. He appeared on ComedyCentral’s “Comedy 3al Wagef – season 3” in 2018, then was chosen to perform his half-hour specialalso for Comedy Central in 2019. Ammar has written for TV shows, animation shows and radio since2002, he created, wrote, and V.O.’d the Syrian animation series “Mawqef Micro” 2010-2016.In 2020 he wrote the Arabic comedy series “Karimophobia” for Shahid.net, “Karimophobia” wasnominated for best Arabic comedy series in 2020.Ammar is the host of “Tak Tak” podcast, a weekly podcast that sheds light on the humanexperiences of its guest who come from all walks of life. He is also the co-host of “Qatch wa lahch”, aweekly podcast that provides insightful, informative & humorous commentary on events that takeplace globally.In 2021, Ammar started “2 Arabi not spicy” -which is an Arabic stand-up comedy tour in Europe- withhis fellow comedian Saad Al Ghefari.
