She is based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary) on her ancestral territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy.Jaiden was called to yoga during her undergraduate studies as a way to support her well-being while navigating the challenges of a colonial system. Over time, yoga became more than just stress management—it became a practice that connected her to herself, her community, and the land. For Jaiden, yoga is ceremony. She recently completed her 200-hour yoga training through Yoga Outreach and takes a holistic approach to teaching. Her practice integrates ceremony, honors the roots of yoga, and acknowledges both the ancestors and the land. She emphasizes breathwork and gentle, accessible movements while using a trauma-informed approach, incorporating choice and invitational language. As a guide and space-holder, Jaiden empowers individuals to befriend and nurture their bodies, minds, and spirits.
