The Western Australian Cyber Security Innovation Hub was established in 2018 to grow and diversify the economy, create employment in the cyber security sector and improve the State's cyber security posture.On 1 March 2023 CyberWest Hub, the WA Cyber Security Innovation Hub, was launched as a state-based Hub. Its mission is to improve the state's cyber security posture, create employment in the cyber security sector, and diversify the economy.Headquartered at Edith Cowan University in the Joondalup Innovation Hub, the WA Cyber Security Innovation Hub is co-funded through the WA Government’s New Industries Fund, Edith Cowan University and City of Joondalup.The Hub hosts collaborative, inclusive and participatory events with a welcoming community spirit. Participation is conditional upon not engaging in behaviour that offends, or intimidates anyone. Such behaviours can include physical, verbal or visual conduct (e.g. in the form of posters, email, or SMS messages). Participants are expected to treat all people with respect and courtesy. Failure to do so can result in being removed from the CyberWest Hub event/program/initiative and possible further action.All participants, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and guests who engage in a CyberWest led event or activity, both online and in person, must agree to abide by these community behaviours as set out in our Code of Conduct.
