Led by Principal Dentist Amber Aplin, we offer in-person training courses and study clubs with our Dentists as well as guest speakers. We have a passion for sharing our knowledge in our areas of special interest: preventive dentistry, biomimetic restorations of badly damaged teeth, dental therapy, general dentistry, implants, complex root canal and teeth straightening. Amber Aplin is the owner of The Gentle Touch, an independent, private dental practice in Kelso, Scottish Borders.The Gentle Touch is the UK's first fully biomimetic practice and we routinely using biomimetic techniques with all of our patients. All of our Dentists have undertaken Masterships in biomimetics and our Dental Therapists have been trained in-house. We are committed to sharing our expertise in this field with our Biomimetics Dentistry Training Courses - Level 1 (Intro) and Level 2 (Advanced) - so that you can learn these transformative techniques.Our Study Club sessions are free to attend and cover a wide range of topics. They are designed to bring dentists together to share knowledge, discuss cutting-edge techniques, and develop their clinical expertise in a collaborative environment.Our dentistry training courses and study clubs are held at our practice, ensuring a comfortable and well-equipped setting. Our location, in Kelso, Scottish Borders, is convenient for colleagues across the dental industry - we are 75 minutes south of Edinburgh, 90 minutes north of Newcastle, and 40 minutes from excellent train links at Berwick-upon-Tweed.
