Myopia Polo Club holds the distinction of being one of the oldest active polo clubs in America. It is one of five charter members of the United States Polo Association when it was established in 1890. Club players have competed on Sundays at Gibney Field since the first game in 1887. Myopia Polo Clubs rich mix of history, bucolic setting, equine and athletic energy comprises a colorful tapestry for players and spectators alike every summer.Summer Sundays at Myopia Polo is a family friendly event that offers an exciting polo match, a player parade, pre-game entertainment and the traditional divot stomp.
