Tammy Bush a member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She is a serial Entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in sales, recruiting and managing teams. Tammy owns and operates a Mobile Boutique, and she started a non-profit called Tam's Beautiful Butterflies in 2018 to honor her daughter Tammurra Hamilton, who died by suicide in 2014. The organization was established to help bring awareness and provide preventive education resources to communities within the Metro East area with a goal to help end suicide and minimize the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health.Tammy is currently working as a Program Manager for The GEO Group helping ex- offenders reintegrate themselves back into the community. She has over 30 plus years of experience working with ex-offenders both inside Corrections facilities and Community Re-entry Services. Tammy started her Corrections career in 1994. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Workforce Education from SIU-Carbondale, a Master's Degree in Management from Fontbonne University, and a Professional Counseling Degree from Lindenwood University. Tammy also holds a Life Coach and Substance Abuse certification.In her spare time Tammy enjoys working her business, traveling, dancing, singing and volunteering.
