Taste Without a Trace — Sri Lankan Dinner

Join us for the next edition of The Green Table Club, where flavour, community, and sustainability come together. This time we’re taking you on a journey to Sri Lanka with Taste Without a Trace — a dinner that’s bold in flavour but light on the planet.

✨ Expect vibrant dishes, shared stories, and the magic of Sri Lankan spices. Our guest chef will bring his heritage to life by sharing childhood favourites and the traditions behind each recipe.

🍢 Starters — Ceylonese Trio

  • Veg Tacos — Spicy kochchi chilli guacamole meets smoky burnt onion salsa in a vibrant street-food twist.

  • Vegetable Cutlet — Golden, crispy, and bursting with spiced mash, a much-loved Sri Lankan snack.

  • Cashew & Onion Pakora — Light, crunchy fritters with the perfect balance of nutty richness and sweet onion.


🍛 Main Course — Sri Lankan Heritage Lamprais

A freshly baked Dutch–Sri Lankan rice parcel, unwrapped to reveal layers of:

  • Fragrant Siraga Samba Rice — the heart of Sri Lankan feasting.

  • Brinjal Moju — glossy, caramelised eggplant with sweet-spicy depth.

  • Plantain Curry — soft, comforting, and gently spiced.

  • Spiced Cutlet — savoury and satisfying, adding bite to the parcel.

  • Chickpea Masala — hearty, protein-rich, and full of warmth.

  • Traditional Sambals — fiery, zesty condiments that tie the feast together.


🍨 Dessert

Coconut-Sago Payasam — Creamy coconut, tender pearls of sago, and delicate spices in a silky-sweet finish.

Appam Action — Delicate lace-edged pancakes, flipped hot from the pan, served both sweet and savoury with vibrant chutneys and condiments.
