Precious Daugherty, LMFT is a native of Spartanburg, SC and was educated in Spartanburg District Four Schools. After graduation, she attended and received her Bachelors of Arts in English Secondary Education and was a high school English teacher for 11 years. She also earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University. After transitioning from the classroom, she became a middle school, and later a high school counselor and is currently serving her sixth year in this role. In addition to working in the public schools, Precious also is an Associate Therapist at Emerge Family Therapy where she specializes in grief, anxiety, stress, and life management for young and middle-aged adults.
