The Making Music Matter Foundation oversees the Desert Winds, Chambers, Honor Winds, and Camp Reimagined.The Foundation celebrates the vibrant tradition of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments through full wind orchestra ensembles for both adults and students (the Desert Winds and Honor Winds), as well as smaller chamber groups (Chambers).Along with providing performance opportunities for musicians in the Las Vegas community, the Making Music Matter Foundation nurtures the next generation of musical leaders. It oversees Band Camp Reimagined and Orchestra Camp Reimagined, which provide intensive summer training for middle and high school students within Clark County and around the country.Underneath the core belief that music and the arts are fundamental to elevating our community, the Foundation makes music and education accessible to all through free public performances, discounted ticketing, and scholarships. Connecting people through shared emotional experiences that mirror humanity remains central to our values.The Making Music Matter Foundation is a recognized 501(c)3 corporation in Nevada.
