We are a Fair Trade coffee shop, café and second-hand book store situated in the city centre of Aberdeen on Belmont Street, with over 10,000 used and new books covering most categories across two floors.Throughout the year our book floor hosts events author Q&As, acoustic music sets, poetry nights and book clubs.Our cafe is table service with Fairtrade coffee, tea, soft drinks and a menu (vegan and gluten free options) of breakfasts, toasties, omelettes, home made soups, burgers, toasted baguettes, wraps and Aberdeen largest selection of fluffy American style pancakes (all made to order) with a selection of cakes (some GF and vegan), brownies and home made scones.Books and Beans is for all is to enjoy great coffee, drinks and good food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, whilst letting the books continue their journey with you.
