Canadian Grizzlies is a western Canada-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the educational, athletic and cultural development of youth through Canada’s best-known sport – ice hockey. Canadian Grizzlies was founded by a group of families committed to creating an environment in which young hockey players can better appreciate the principles and benefits of sport and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.Ultimately, Canadian Grizzlies will connect its players and their families to people and cultures of other hockey-playing countries. In 2025, members of Canadian Grizzlies will tour Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Czechia immersing themselves in local cultures, meeting new families and playing games in each of those countries.
