have come across much prejudice within the fashion industry over the years, with lack of size inclusion and more recently because of my disability (which began in June 2022)I am now using my extensive knowledge of the industry in creating my own inclusive clothing brand, Debbie-Lyn Apparel (sizes 8-26) and I am organising a fashion show on 1st October 2023 to showcase my brand, and give opportunities to anyone in the local community who has suffered discrimination as a disabled person, their size, the colour of their skin, or their sexual preferences. The fashion show will be raising money to support the Anti Bullying campaign called BeeU, who do vital work with young people, as October 1st begins National Bullying Prevention Month
