Rhyme and Reason Academy is a Montessori school on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, near Chincoteague and Wallops Island. Our primary classroom (ages 3-6) is designed to nurture independence, confidence, and a love of learning through hands-on exploration. With carefully prepared materials and an inviting environment, children develop practical skills, build strong academic foundations, and learn to work at their own pace. From pouring water to early math and reading, every lesson is an opportunity for discovery and mastery. At Rhyme and Reason Academy, we believe children flourish when given the freedom to learn through purposeful work.
