Mauya The Fine Arts Tribe is an emerging Arts and Community-based organization based in Nova Scotia, Canada, and the organization aims to curate tailored experiences in a safe and inclusive space for diverse individuals and organizations, while fostering creative connection, self-expression, and holistic wellness. Mauya offers a unique blend of creativity, community engagement, and social impact within its sector, integrating elements of social consciousness, cultural celebration, education, and personal expression into its experiences. Mauya strives to create a fun-loving, carefree environment where people can freely be themselves, celebrate their uniqueness, and explore their artistic potential.Our mission is to curate transformative artistic experiences while promoting self-discovery and holistic well-being. Through innovative arts programs, events, and workshops, we aspire to be the catalyst for a thriving community where people can authentically connect, and nurture their mental, emotional, financial, and spiritual wellness.Our Offerings:Mauya offers a diverse range of curated experiences that engage, inspire, and uplift our community members. These include:Spoken Word and Poetry nights:Showcasing the talents of local and national Black artists, our Spoken Word events provide a platform for artists to share their stories and performances with each other in an intimate and safe space.Sip and Paint experiences:Our talented and friendly artists guide participants step-by-step through our painting process, inspiring attendees to look inwardly as they create a work of art which they get to take home with them. Mauya also hosts private paint parties for date nights, birthday parties, children's parties, and corporate events.Community Programming:Mauya collaborates with community partners to develop compelling educational experiences tailored to their chosen topics, such as financial literacy, enhancing and supporting family relationships, or preventing sexual violence, utilizing the medium of art to effectively convey the intended message.
