BORN March 20, 1984, in Bangkok Thailand, (Born; King Pinmee) Michael Ung aka THE SARGE. The Sarge Joined theUNITED STATES ARMY at age 20, Where he was shipped to Basic Training in Fort Benning GA and sent off to his unit tofight in Iraq and Afghanistan during OIF 5-7 and OEF 9-10, after 8 years he was then sent to Fort Bliss in EL Paso TX. Thisis where Michael would start making Music by writing poetry as an outlet and part of his therapy dealing with combat PTSD,Since Michael was already an E-5 (Sargeant) in the Army, all his soldiers would address him as “sarge" so therefore, thename THE SARGE became stuck and was adopted.The Sarge attended college at UTEP in El Paso Texas for Music Theory & Composition and had to relocate due to Medicalreasons. so THE SARGE picked up his family and resided in Colorado Springs since 2015, where he got more in the scenewith the music and radio community, EVENTUALLY starting MOUNTAIN HIGH 10 RADIO. For the last 8 years, THESARGE has been a servant to the Colorado Springs community both MUSIC and LOCAL businesses, Ensuring LOCAL UP& COMING ARTISTS of ALL genres and LOCAL businesses get advertised, promoted, exposed, and on stage, throughLIVE EVENTS, promotion, PODCAST INTERVIEWS and MORE! THE SARGE is responsible for having thrown over 400events in a 5-year span, in Colorado, both big and small! As an ARTIST, THE SARGE has performed, worked with, andopened up for Major acts including TECH N9NE, OUIJIA MACC, TWIZTID, LUNIZ, N B RYDAS, RUFF RYDERS, WUTANG KILLA BEEZ, DEV, LIL WYTE, LIL FLIP, D-LOC/ AND CHUCKY CHUCK of KOTTONMOUTH KINGS and MANYMORE. to include His Own HEADLINE shows. THE SARGE delivers a Unique style of storyline Hip Hop, and pop punkrock for the consumers who relate to dealing with PTSD, and Depression.
