I have been working with graphic designing since 1986, before it was really popular. I really found out that it was something I could really begin to enjoy. I continued to study and learn as much as possible about graphic designing. I took some courses and learned what I could about the technology that was out there. However, it wasn't until 2000, when I started a gospel singing group that I really began to realize that I actually had a gift for it.After designing our first CD cover and doing the graphics for the marketing campaign I began to get some recognition for my work. It was then I decided to go back to school for Visual Communications/Information Technology. However, due to finances and other challenges in my life I really wasn't able to attend college until 2008, two years after our first CD release "Brand New Day Live".One of my first assignments was to develop a company. We had specific things parameters to follow for the assignment and this is how HP Visual Connections came to be. I always wanted to be able to offer my clients everything in the same place. To be able to carry them through the life of their projects and this is what we are all about.Graphic designing is just a portion of what HP Visual Connections has to offer. I am so blessed to be able to service my customers in many different areas. I enjoy bringing the clients' ideas to life. Sometimes I know what they are looking for just by talking to them and understanding their dream. To me, it is more than just a business it is an honor to be a part of the whole process from beginning to end.I recently began working with commercial ad promotions and the feeling I get when I ride by a store and know that I created their ad that is being viewed in magazines, online, in hotels, etc. is so surreal to me, I am deeply humbled that God has chosen me for such an awesome gift.
