In 2022, a group was formed to establish a commemorative project that would revive and expand public knowledge and understanding of the immense achievements of Susan and Elizabeth Yeats. The aim is to re-associate the sisters with Churchtown and Dundrum, County Dublin, the place that facilitated and nurtured their most prodigious period; the place they saw as home and is their final resting place.A principal objective is to promote public appreciation of the sisters’ pioneering ideals and values and their relevance to modern Ireland, encouraging in the process a new generation of discovery and research.
