In times of tragedy and significant loss, we expect family and loved ones to step back and focus on their pain. However, that was not the case for Ebony’s family. Although living through one of the most challenging losses - her family found the strength to honor her life and legacy through helping others. Through Ebony’s Eyes is a non-profit organization that is committed to helping young people go after and achieve their passions with the same vigor that Ebony lived her life.About Ebony - Ebony Monette McCrae-Curley 33 of Atlanta, GA departed this life suddenly in a tragic accident April 15, 2017. Born January 25, 1984 in Springfield, MA to Larshell Curley and Rodney McCrae, Ebony was raised in Springfield with her mother until her mother relocated to Connecticut during her adolesence. Ebony graduated from East Hartford High 2002. Ebony decided to remain in Georgia, she lived and worked various jobs until 2013, when Ebony relocated back to Connecticut with her mother.
