Elaine Foster-Gandey is a multi media artist living in the UK. Her art aesthetic, the body, performance, collaboration, film and mark making are all subjects that are at the core of her research enquiry. She has had many years experience teaching and running workshops where she brings new ideas developed in her own art practice to the sessions.Her career spans three decades, running fashion events - appearing on TV and radio, teaching and setting up workshops and exhibiting her art in the UK and Internationally. Her art career highlights include a group show at The British School at Rome showing her video ‘God, can you hear me’ alongside famous artists Gillian Wearing, Sam Taylor-Wood and Tracy Emin and more recently chosen for the Royal Academy Summer Show with her painting ‘Two girls in masks’ picked out by Tracy Emin as a particular favourite in show.Elaine has a BA in fine art from London Guildhall University and a MA in Inclusive Arts Practice from the University of Brighton.
