The SLOBC, founded in 1971, is a 501.c.4 non-profit organization that promotes safe and legal bicycle riding for recreation and transportation. We seek to enjoy and enhance cycling opportunities throughout SLO County. For example, members lead rides every day of the week that explore our picturesque coastal and inland roads.The SLOBC’s Wildflower and Lighthouse Century bike rides are put on by the club for the enjoyment of the participants and the benefit of the club and our communities. The funds generated permit us to donate to Bike SLO County and other local cycling organizations and programs in addition to the communities and groups that support our century rides.
