We are a charitable organisation and our interest is in the Roman Fort at Newstead, Melrose, and the associated Roman Iron Age in Southern Scotland. Trimontium Roman Fort is the largest north of Hadrian's wall, home of the most northerly amphitheatre in the Empire and it's story is told at our Museum in Melrose- the only museum in Scotland dedicated to the Roman and Iron Age. Our regular talks on all aspects of Roman and Iron Age history are supported by some of the finest scholars and help us raise vital funds to support our outreach and educational work.
