BackgroundThe United Kingdom Emergency Robotics Responders Organisation (UKERRO), is a newly formed organisation (Unincorporated Association) established by emergency services and volunteer search and rescue practitioner pilots with the main aims as follows:• To foster collaboration among the emergency services and volunteer organisation drone/robotics teams, creating a community that thrives on shared knowledge and expertise• To serve as a platform to exchange insights, discuss best practices, and learn from each other's experiences• To strive to enhance understanding and build strong networks that transcend traditional boundaries through live events, workshops and specialist training sessions.This yearly event will:Incorporate as many of the UK’s emergency and Volunteer search and rescue services as possibleInclude all forms of robotics including air, ground, on-water and submersible and external)Include National Institute of Standards and Technology UAS Test Methods standsHost guest speakers from the UK and internationallyProvide an opportunity to participate in realistic have-a-go scenarios in realistic training rigs which will be facilitated according to discipline (USAR, SAR, Law Enforcement, internal and external)Include National Institute of Standards and Technology UAS Test Methods standsHost a number of robotics related manufacturers and organisations response operations in order to save lives and minimise risk to responders.Provide the best opportunity available, to bring practitioners, organisations and industry together to showcase the latest in technology and to develop robotics capabilities and response operations in order to save lives and minimise risk to responders
