I've had a dream to keep my ancestors' craft alive. Growing up in Placitas, New Mexico, I watched my grandmother and mother work hard with their hands to provide clothing, food, and comfort for my family. I have sweet memories of pies baking and lye soap curing in the backyard. Today, I continue the tradition of making soap, not by necessity but fueled by a passion for having healthy and beautiful products for everyone around me.In January 2022, Chrystal joined me as my partner at Enchanting Soap Collections. We are certified by NM True and are certified NM Made Manufacturers. We pride ourselves on crafting products with only the finest local, organic, natural, wild-harvested, and sustainable ingredients.Chrystal and I are on a mission to bring hope to the women in our community and encourage them to recognize their self-worth. We provide jobs to women coming out of incarceration, how have been margenalized or who are on their recovery journey. We've lived the difference, seen the difference and want to be a part of the difference!
