The checkout process is the final hurdle in converting sales. This session features Douglas and Yina from Stripe who will discuss how optimizing the checkout experience can make a huge difference between securing payments or losing out to competitors due to limited payment options. Stripe will also highlight best practices for startups, focusing on payout schedules and their impact on cash flow cycles, as well as using payment services to expand cross-border business opportunities.

Cash Flow, Cash Flow Management, And Working Capital Management Strategies by Christy Wong from Crusade Partners
Cash flow is the lifeblood of any business. This session explores how financial stability can be gradually achieved and sustained through effective cash flow management, covering everything from accounts receivable to payable. Christy from Crusade Partners, venture debt firm from Hong Kong will also discuss how working capital can be unlocked, managed more efficiently, or enhanced through debt facilities to strengthen cash flow for various strategic purposes, such as creating a financial buffer or supporting capacity growth. Finally, new funding instruments, like venture debt or loans, will be presented as alternative solutions for startups looking to finance growth without diluting ownership.

The objective is to provide founders with clarity and practical approaches to managing equity ownership, share classes, distribution, dilution, and exit scenarios. This session will also explore how ownership evolves as the company grows and how to optimize financing strategies while aligning stakeholders with the right ownership incentives.
