A little about me..My name is Maryam, born and raised in Eastbourne! Since finishing college, I went to Sussex to study law and during my search for the right career move I have lived in London and New York for a little while and now find myself in compliance and returning back to my hometown since the pandemic working remotely.Since moving back to Eastbourne, I have, for the first time really had the time to invest in myself and well-being then ever before. As a teenager I never appreciated how beautiful Eastbourne really is and have found this new sense of appreciation to my hometown. I started yoga and playing tennis and have made amazing group of friends from these sports.The last almost 5 years, has really given me the opportunity to get out of the hustle and really connect, not just within myself but with the local community.My Introduction to Vision Boards...I got into vision boards creations a few years ago when I learnt the power of manifesting. But I never knew what I was manifesting?! So I tried creating a vision board with numerous magazines but found it difficult to focus and be disciplined when doing this alone. So last year I travelled to a number of vision board workshops outside of Eastbourne, including one in the US when I was travelling this year and I loved it. I found creating a vision board in a community space more productive and enjoyable. For a few hours within the workshop not only do I enjoy the curiosity of what I could identify when scrolling through images that connect to me but also I felt creative in creating a beautiful vision board that also connects to me.Let's connect!I would love to also create a similar event in my local town in Eastbourne and have found a beautiful setting at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne (all the better for 'grand' visions!)Please let me know if you have any questions and look forward to meeting you on 9 February!MaryamInstagram:Mazjab
