In 2017, Ella Mertens passed away at 13 months from an undiagnosed heart defect. Ella’s Umbrella is a nonprofit established in her memory to keep what happened to her from happening to other kids. Our mission is to provide inspiration, connections and resources to save kids with heart conditions.
