Bank Square Books is a locally owned, fiercely independent bookstore located in southern New England.Bank Square Booksis located in the heart of downtown Mystic, Bank Square Books has been a cornerstone of the community since 1988 and has been owned by Annie Philbrick since 2006. The bookstore has expanded throughout the years and now occupies two storefronts on Main Street, easily identifiable by the iconic whale painted by artist Pamela Zagarenski outside the front door. The store hosts a wide range of events throughout the area, both in-store and offsite.
