Laurie Candelaria, an artist based in Charleston, South Carolina. Her career has been shaped by her early experiences in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico, Laurie has demonstrated versatility and skill across various art forms, including metalsmithing, jewelry design, stained glass, and watercolor painting. Based on James Island, she enjoys nature, gardening, and coastal preservation. She balances her career as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with her passion for painting. Laurie also specializes in creating custom paintings, including family memories, pet and home portraits.
