Hi, I'm Melissa, I moved to Watlington in 2021 with my husband John from Surrey where we owned a small farm. We lived in the centre of the town for a year, whilst we built a house on Britwell Hill and fell in love with all things Watlington.The objective of the Summer Event is to bring together our wonderful community, both new members and old, to celebrate all the town has to offer in terms of wonderful community groups, fabulous retailers and stalls selling local artisan products. The evening event is a chance for us all to let our hair down with barbeque and live Ceilidh band (included in ticket price) plus fully stocked bar run by the sports community group.2025 is the first year of this event. If successful then we hope to run the event annually on the last Saturday in June.The event is run by a set of volunteers.
