Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival is a non-profit organization and annual festival in Manitoba, Canada that creates and celebrates community through music, art, and nature. By means of its year-round programming, Whoop & Hollar is focused on promoting, supporting, and expanding the unique identity of its local arts and culture scene.FESTIVAL: Less than an hour from Winnipeg and minutes from Portage la Prairie, a magical experience awaits. The Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival is held the last weekend in August (or the weekend before September Long). "Whoop and holler" as you enjoy a diverse lineup of performers from Portage la Prairie, across Manitoba, and beyond! Fun for all ages in a charming, intimate setting - surrounded by nature. Listen to the music, dance, sing, walk the Cottonwood Trail, or enjoy the prairie pollinator garden.
