Neiki Jones is the founder and Lead Visionary of A.L.A.Y.A. Ministries, - a 501© (3) organization dedicated to helping individuals who are struggling with identifying the purposed leader buried deep within them. She came up with the concept of establishing this outreach organization to recognize, nurture, and support leaders of the past, present, and future. Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she first moved to New Orleans before moving again to Houston at the age of twelve. Though she made Houston her permanent place of residence, she’s always proud to be called an Alabamian. The community-oriented professional has bags of awards for her philanthropy activities on her shelf. She is the recipient of the National Council of Negro Women’s Bethune Award, for her contributions to young women of color in the Houston Community. Also, she was featured in Voyage Houston Magazine for her Non-Profit Organization. One of the major highlights of her work was in September 2019, when she was featured for making Headline News, - an article of her upcoming book. She is also the proud honoree of receiving the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Seeking to impart her passion to many, she published her first book, “When the Pieces Begin to Fit.” The book gives an insightful look at the writer’s life as she speaks on her struggles with low self-esteem, suicide attempt, divorce, and her not being complete.
