A museum without walls, or rather a digital+ museum, established in 2011 dedicated to celebrating, interpreting and preserving the history, heritage and culture of working people in the National Capital Region, the Ottawa Valley and beyond.WHM has created permanent, travelling and virtual exhibits, and maintains an extensive photographic archive and object collection. The museum regularly hosts trivia nights, storytelling events, and walking tours. The museum also publishes books, graphic novels and documentaries. These exhibitions and collections are focused on workers as individuals, as well as employees, as trades, as industry and many other aspects of the life of working people.The museum collaborates with other heritage, academic and labour organizations to bring workers' history to the public.
