The purpose of the WiCyS San Diego Affiliate is to provide a central place for women in cybersecurity from academia, research, and industry to share knowledge, experience, networking, and mentoring. We are a community of engagement, encouragement and empowerment for women in cybersecurity. Male allies who support our mission are welcome and encouraged to be part of our community.WiCyS San Diego Affiliate serves the Greater San Diego area. We incorporate and carry out the WiCyS mission to build a strong cybersecurity workforce with gender equality by facilitating recruitment, retention, and advancement for women in the cybersecurity field.Our vision is to advance the presence and influence of women in cybersecurity. Our mission is to unite women in cybersecurity, foster professional development, and to build a diverse cybersecurity workforce in San Diego.
