Anna Sayburn Lane writes 1920s murder mysteries and contemporary thrillers, set in London and Kent. She has developed walking tours for the Canterbury Festival and the Deptford Literary Festival, highlighting the history and mystery of the places that inspire her. Her 2018 debut novel Unlawful Things was shortlisted for the Virago/The Pool New Crime Writer award. She lives between London and the Kent coast.
