We started the Wyatt A. Lee Memorial Foundation in memory and in honor Wyatt, who we lost to suicide. Our goal is to help educate today’s youth, their parents, educators and community about suicide and mental health – to be aware of possible signs, what to do if noticed, where to go for help, that there is help and they are not alone. We created the Wyatt A. Lee Memorial Foundation so we can provide resources to our community to achieve this. With education to our youths and their families and community about suicide prevention and mental health awareness, we believe we can make a difference and save others from the pain we have and continue to endure.Suicide is 100% preventable, yet it is currently the 12th leading cause of death in the United States with suicide being the second-leading cause of death amongst young adults. We are committed to reducing, and hopefully eliminating suicide.
