Im a healthcare worker,mom,wife and yoga instructor. Covid and my youngest daughter being old enough to be more independent prompted me to find a form of stress relief mentally and physically.I thankfully found it in a Yoga Instructor Program and graduated 10 months ago. I know the strain of healthcare and i hope im doing one small part to help provide relief.Im guiding several forms of Yoga classes based on Every body, every level. Its not about how you get into the poses or how inexperienced you are. If you are stretching at a comfortable level and connecting with your breath to calm and focus the mind and body, you are doing it perfectly. We will find ourselves in awkward situations, but its not awkward when guided with kindness , compassion,safety and a bit of humor.p.s. I feel everyone in every job needs self care. I personally connected with Yoga and healthcare because it was my experience. My family and parent caregiver roles were helped 100% by practicing Yoga .
