The Oxygen Project: Yoga for Youth's mission is to empower youth to face everyday stress and significant life challenges with resilience and calm through yoga and mindfulness techniques. Our strengths-based and trauma-sensitive programming supports physical and mental health, positive behavior, and healthy relationships. The Oxygen Project is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We offer school-age youth the powerful tools of yoga and mindfulness through ongoing classes held at schools and youth organizations. We also support schools, as well as youth development and mental health organizations, through self-care programming for staff, as we believe that in order to take care of our youth, staff must have resources to take care of themselves and one another.
