Founded in 1892 by education pioneer Emily Ward, Norland is the oldest early childhood education and care training institution in the world. Regular events, networking opportunities, and continuing professional development (CPD) courses enable graduates to stay informed about the latest developments in the early years sector while maintaining strong connections with their peers. The Professional Association of Norlanders (PAN) offers alumni the opportunity to be officially recognised as members of a professional body, in addition to providing a professional career pathway to become Norland-endorsed specialists in specific aspects of childcare through postgraduate qualifications.
