On August 2, 2011, this group was initially designed to connect ALL RELATIVES of Myrtle Hunter and John Lathan (i.e., former residents of NW Mississippi and SE Michigan). Circa 2015, pursuant to respect of their ancestries, a decision was made to expand the group to provide the appropriate inclusion for the posterity blossoming from the “roots” of their respective parents and siblings.This decision has led to a deeper dive of ascertainment into their lineages and the development of an aptly expanded knowledge base of our origins. Hence, the Camp-Lathan + Shields-Hunter Family Reunion name.
