I am a licensed professional counselor and artist.Throughout my 14 years as a clinical counselor, focusing mostly on trauma and relationship therapy, the two factors that I have seen bring the most success in healing are faith and creative expression. I believe this is a result of these two elements being at the heart of every human being.Because of this experience, I have chosen to create Soul Canvas where I will combine my faith and concepts of creativity along with my knowledge of psychology to practice a new model of healing for optimal mental wellness. Counseling options through this model will include creative classes and tailored one-on-one sessions to help individuals and families searching for something more than talk therapy.My own art practice and prayer are the most vital part of my personal wellness.
