The Bunclody Union of Parishes is a part of the worldwide Christian Church, which worships Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, and strives to serve His creation and express the Creator’s love in these parts of Counties Wexford, Wicklow and Carlow. We worship God according to the customs of the Church of Ireland, (a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion), that part of the Christian Church that experienced the Reformation in Ireland. St Brigid’s Church, Kilrush and St Fiaac’s Church, Clonegal, are built on old, possibly pre-Christian sites, while St Mary’s Church, Bunclody, and St Paul’s Church, Kildavin, were built on ‘new’ sites in the 18th and 19th centuries respectively. While we cherish the heritage which has been entrusted to us, our focus is on the needs of the communities in which we today live and work. Much of this work relates to and depends on farming. We value your participation in the community, and would like to invite you to explore the path that God may be calling you to follow. You will certainly be welcome in any of the four churches of the Bunclody Union of Parishes.
