The CBCA is a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation that’s been in operation since 1945 and now has Branches in every state and territory. As the peak body for quality children’s literature, our mission is to connect, communicate, celebrate and advocate for the value of stories and for those who write them.The CBCA Book of the Year Awards are Australia’s premier children’s literature awards. Six category winners and ten honour books, selected by our expert judges from across the country.
