The House of Azerbaijan in Alexandria, Virginia, was founded in August 2024 with the mission to preserve and promote Azerbaijani culture, arts, and traditions while fostering mutual understanding and collaboration among diverse communities. As a dedicated cultural and community organization, the House of Azerbaijan serves the best interests of the American Azerbaijani community and its friends, creating a platform for socio-cultural exchange, education, and social engagement.Since its establishment, the organization has successfully implemented seven impactful projects with community-building initiatives. These programs have provided opportunities for Azerbaijani Americans and the broader public to experience the richness of Azerbaijani heritage through music, dance, cuisine, literature, and history, connected hundreds of people with resources and each-other.Through its initiatives, the House of Azerbaijan strives to strengthen cultural identity, bridge connections between communities, and contribute to a more inclusive and diverse society. With continued support, the organization aims to expand its programs, enhance outreach efforts, and further enrich the cultural landscape of DMV area and beyond.
