Dr. Richardson is the President/CEO of Axis Leadership, LLC. His company conducts leadership training and project management consulting focused on personal, organizational, and community development. He is an honorably retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel having served over 22 years on active duty as an aircraft navigator in command & control and surveillance aircraft. He has combat time over the skies of Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan.After his military career he served in higher education and taught at the technical college, undergraduate, and graduate degree levels and has held leadership positions at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Mercer University, Middle Georgia State University, and Central Georgia Technical College. Prior to starting his Leadership Consulting Company, he served as the Vice President, Student Affairs, at Valencia College in Orlando Florida. This seven-campus state college served over 70K students across two counties in the Central Florida Community.He completed his undergraduate degree at the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned master’s degrees in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. He also earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. Additionally, he completed the Harvard Graduate School Institute for Management and Leadership in Education, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute, and has an Advanced Certificate in Christian Life Coaching from Light University (online). Dr. Richardson is also a certified member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team.
