About ICSNThe Inclusion in Canadian Sports Network (ICSN), formerly The Black Canadian Coaches Association (BCCA), is a Black-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) within the Canadian amateur sports community. We believe in the power of sport to inspire positive change and create a more equitable society.Our MissionTo achieve a more racially diverse and inclusive Canadian amateur sports landscape by creating pathways to increase the representation of BIPOC individuals in coaching, officiating, administration, and support staff roles. We pursue this mission through:Community Connection: Fostering a strong network of support and collaboration.Education and Professional Development: Providing resources and opportunities for growth.Sharing Job Opportunities: Increasing access to career pathways in sport.Building Resiliency Skills: Empowering individuals to overcome challenges and thrive.Our VisionWe envision a Canadian amateur sport system where BIPOC individuals are fully represented and empowered at all levels.
