Dainty London Jewellery was founded by me, Jade. My journey started as a Children’s Heart Transplant Nurse Specialist, but my passion for design and storytelling has led me to become a multi-award-winning jewellery designer.My jewellery designs are inspired by a beautiful blend of my childhood memories with my fisherman father in Cornwall, the wonders of the ocean, and my adventures from around the world. I draw inspiration from the treasures washed up onto the beaches, as well as the enchanting tales of mermaids and nautical folklore. I like to breathe life into these unique tales through my jewellery creations.My commitment to sustainabilityMy commitment to nature's beauty and sustainability is also a key influence and I use recycled silver and fair-trade gold whenever possible, demonstrating my dedication to eco-friendly practices. I was recently featured in Forbes magazine as 'A female founder to celebrate this Woman's history month'.AwardsI was honoured to receive numerous awards for my designs, including "Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year" at the UK Jewellery Awards 2021 and "Creative Entrepreneur of the Year" at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2021. In addition, Dainty London was named "Best Jewellery Store in Essex" by Muddy Stilettos. Last year I was recognised as a finalist for the "Commercial Jewellery Designer of the Year" at the UK Jewellery Awards and "Designer of the Year" with the National Association of Jewellers AND this year I am a shortlisted finalist for 'Commercial Jewellery Designer of the year, and 'Online Retail Strategy of the Year' at the UK Jewellery Awards 2024.The blend of nature, storytelling, and sustainability is what makes Dainty London Jewellery so special and admired by many.
