The Learning Disabilities Association of Prince Edward Island is a non-profit charity that empowers people with learning disabilities to unlock their full potential and fosters inclusivity in the community to create equitable access to opportunities by providing academic and workplace supports.As a public institution and Prince Edward Island’s only university, the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) has a special obligation to the people of PEI and plays a distinct role in contributing to the success of this province. UPEI aspires to excel in education, scholarly endeavours, research, and service.ADHD PEI is a not-for-profit grassroots organization run by people with first-hand insight and experience with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Founded in 2018 by Sandy Slade, ADHD PEI works to help people affected and impacted by ADHD and ADD on Prince Edward Island. Our group's mission is to support these Islanders and their loved ones through education, advocacy, and peer support. Our goal is not just to help each other survive, but to thrive!The PEI Alliance for Mental Well-Being aims to help create a future where everyone on PEI can achieve and maintain the best possible mental well-being throughout their lives and effectively navigate the challenges they face. It envisions to be a leader and champion in mental well-being by empowering their community partners to achieve their most ambitious goals. Its mission is to support and empower community partners so they collectively create a future where everyone on PEI can achieve and maintain the best possible mental well-being throughout their lives.
