The EMPOWER-EU Network is a community for EU Affairs professionals who self-identify as ethnic minorities and part of underrepresented demographics in the Brussels bubble, such as BAME, as well as those who have a positive interest in driving forward equality of opportunity for all.ObjectivesEMPOWER-EU aims to provide a safe forum for members to connect, socialise, share, question, challenge, and receive support and advice in relation to diversity and inclusion in the EU Affairs job market. It aims to provide the necessary resources to excel and thrive in Brussels, in both the private sector and around EU institutions, as a person of colour and ethnic minority.The network’s main goal is to translate these discussions into tangible actions to enhance the experience of members in the Brussels bubble and to engender cultural change, accountability and diversity within the sector.
